Following the Success of Max Magic Objective Productions (Makers of Derren Brown and Peep Show) invited Somerset to make cameo appearances in their own hidden camera show (2005). It was an 8 part series that included John Archer, Kerry Scorah, Loki and Marc Paul. Max had a couple of cameo slots where he played the part of an antique dealer in South Kensington who interviews prospective security guards to guard antiques which vanish before their very eyes in a locked room and inconveniently turn up in their duffle bags once the police arrive. He also plays the part of a dance teacher in pineapple studios who has a strange ability to dance on his single big toe.
